The appraisal form for school-based administrators (Principals, Vice Principals, and Assistant Principals) is being revised to meet legislative requirements.  The indicators are based on the Florida Principal Leadership Standards as found in Rule 6A-5.080, F.A.C., and the additional indicators specified in Section 1012.34, Florida Statute.  School-based administrators are appraised on leadership competencies and the results of disaggregated student data for the purpose of assessing student learning growth.  The statute requires the use of student growth data for at least 50% of the evaluation.

Upon approval by the School Board, the new revised form will be utilized during the 2012-2013 school year.
